The launching ceremony will be officiated by the Secretary General, Ministry of Tourism Y. Bhg. Datuk Dr. Victor Wee and will take place on 15 September 2006 at the Malaysian Tourism Centre, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

Themed ‘CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF MALAYSIA’, it will feature a contemporary batik fashion show and a Gamelan orchestra performance.

At the same time. The participants of the ‘PHOTO RACE ‘06’ will be flagged off. The two hour ceremony will begin at 9.30 am and is expected to get a roaring reception from local photographers as well as foreign visitors.
