through the art of photography. The involvement of local and international
amateur photographers as well as the professional ones along with
tourists and enthusiasts of this art, will surely enhance and flaunt
Malaysia’s tourist destinations to the eyes of the world,
through the captured images.
The publicity that the mass media,
internet and photo enthusiasts will generate by displaying the images,
will certainly arouse the interest of tourists from other countries
who will look at Malaysia as destination that must be visited.
Since it was first organised
in the year 2004, MALAYSIA PHOTO FEST, has received encouraging
response in Malaysia and the Asian region. In the year 2005, nearly
1000 photographers took part in this event and more than 4000 images
were exhibited.
